What an awesome weekend!  There really are no words capable of describing how wonderful it is to see so many friends and family of Kirk come together to reminisce old times and catch up on current times.  It is also inspiring to see the hard work and dedication that so many of us impacted by the loss of Kirk have put into taking responsibility for our own health, and doing what it takes to stamp out early on-set heart disease.

To the more than 100 people that made it out to Demeris Barbeque on Friday Night, the more than 50 total participants in the ABB 5K, The Aramco Houston Half-Marathon and the Chevron Houston Marathon, and to everyone that cheered the runners on and made donations, all of us at TEAMKIRK thank you from the bottom of our HEARTS!!

So far, we have raised over $6,500 for the American Heart Association in 2014, and you can still donate online at our TEAMKIRK fundraising page. Donations are being accepted until February 21!

Registration for the 5K:

TEAMKIRK will be participating in the 2014 ABB 5K on Saturday, January 18th, 2014. Registration is now open. The entry fee is $35.
